This Friday, we recognized our 2nd group of inductees in the CHS Alumni Hall of Fame. Inductees are selected based on Outstanding Achievement, Community Impact, Life for Service and the Heart of a Raider. As you can see below, this year’s inductees represent a variety of careers and accomplishments. The sole purpose of this event is to connect our students with successful alumni graduates and connect our alumni with our outstanding students. It is sure to be a memorable event.

What the day looked like for teachers and studnets:

9th-11th grade students were in Connections and were able to watch the HOF assembly on CHSLive. Seniors were able to be in the volleyball gym and watch the event live. Connections students discussed the purpose of the HOF. Teachers were encouraged to also highlight some of the inductees that would be speaking. While we know it was not ideal to watch in classrooms, all teachers and students made the best of the situation and promote its value to your Connections kids. Teachers are encouraged to facilitate activities like letters to inductees, writing reflection, or discussions to serve as follow up in the days following the program.
