If you work with seniors I wanted to remind you about the TN Promise scholarship.

TN Promise offers two years of tuition free at community or technical colleges in TN for our Class of 2015 graduates.

The deadline to apply is Nov. 1st and the students apply at www.tnpromise.gov

After the student applies to TN Promise they must apply to the community or technical school they will be attending. Cleveland State, Chattanooga State, and TN College of Applied Technology in Athens are some of the local colleges that accept TN Promise.

Please join me in encouraging our seniors to meet this deadline if there is a possibility he or she will be attending a community college or technical school in the fall.
