The Golden Apple Award!!

Bi-Lo and WDEF News 12 are pleased to continue to honor educators in Chattanooga, North Georgia and the Tennessee Valley area through the Golden Apple Award. This program recognizes the excellent work taking place in classrooms and acknowledges the critical role education plays in the future of our area and nation.

Each teacher who is nominated for the award is featured on WDEF News 12 at 6pm on Tuesday nights leading up to the Bi-Lo Golden Apple Award Dinner Banquet. From the distinguished group of nominees, two finalists and a teacher of the year are announced.
